‘Climate-Smart Agriculture’ threatens to take the world in the wrong direction as it falls short of ensuring food and nutrition security. It also undermines the radical transformation of current food and agricultural systems that the world so urgently needs.
Moving towards COP21 in France, we welcome a recognition of the urgent need to adapt food systems to a changing climate.
Climate change is the most urgent threat our society faces and consequently we need a radical transformation of of our current food system.
