Due to the hide markets need to have timeous prices before the publication of the Agri Trends, the team will send out the weekly hide prices individually.
The average hide price over the past week was 2.5% lower at R12.64/kg green. The hide market is currently under pressure. NB* Hide prices are determined by the average of the RMAA (Red Meat Abattoir Association) and independent companies.
