During Minister Nene’s Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS) speech, it was clear that he is taking a generally austere approach.
In the midst of this, it is clear that the growth expectation remains low – much lower than February’s economic growth expectation of merely 2% for 2015.
On the other hand it is comforting to know that the government intends to work more closely with the private sector and labour to achieve more stable industrial relations and speed up growth and and job creation.
