Climate advisory for THE 2014 WINTER SEASON
Normal to above-normal rainfall was received during the 2013/14 summer but it was below normal in parts of KwaZulu-Natal, eastern Northern Cape and north-eastern parts of the Eastern Cape. Crops, veld and livestock are in reasonable to good condition. The level of dams is above 80% in most provinces, except in the Western Cape, where it is at 67%.
