The Northern Cape Department of Labour says it will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that employers who do not comply with the basic conditions of the Employment Act are brought to book.
The department’s spokesperson, Kebalepile Khula, says it has come to light that a number of farm employers in the province are still not adhering to the basic conditions of the Employment Act and ill-treat workers. He says at farms visited recently, workers raised many concerning issues.
