OFM-nuus se landbouredakteur, Sabrina Dean, gesels met Agri Noord-Kaap se President, Henk van Wyk, oor die jongste skenking aan die Agri SA droogterampfonds.
‘n Bedrag van R1 miljoen is Vrydag in Springbok deur die Shell-maatskappy oorhandig. Daar is ook ongeveer R600 000 se voer uitgedeel aan sowat 300 opkomende en kommersiële boere in die omgewing. Van Wyk sê die wereld rondom Springbok is kaal en indien daar nie reën op pad is vir die winterreënvalstreek nie, sal die regering moet ingryp om te verhoed dat daar ‘n hoë sterftesyfer onder die omgewing se veestapel voorkom:
